After yesterday's news that Gran Turismo 6 will feature an exclusive car from BMW, it seems it's not alone, with 17 other brands creating bespoke designs for the Vision Gran Turismo project. Design teams from Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bertone, GM Design, Honda, Infiniti, Italdesign Giugiaro, JORDAN Brand, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Nissan, Peugeot, SRT, Volkswagen and Zagato are creating models for the latest edition in the series. The project comes as a result of a collaboration between the game's creators and its design partners to celebrate the franchise's 15-year anniversary.
Perhaps sensing that it's at risk of going the way of the carbureted big-block and leaded gasoline, the United States Postal Service is apparently willing to try anything to boost its bottom line. The 2014 BMW X5 was officially revealed by the automaker about a month ago, but now the pricing has been officially released. The rear-wheel drive X5 sDrive35i starts at $53,725 (all prices include destination and handling) while the all-wheel drive xDrive35i will start at $56,025. These models come with BMW's 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six laying down 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.
